Desiree is a Woodland native. She and her sons spend their free time exploring and hiking around the area. Desiree stays active in the gym and jogging outdoors, she also loves cooking new recipes for her family.

Karen Van Vorhis, a Registered Dental Hygienist at Beautiful Smiles - James Yang, DDS in Woodland, CA

Karen began her dental hygiene career in 1983 after graduating from Northwestern University in Chicago Illinois. She worked as a dental hygienist for 10 years in Chicago before returning to California with her family. Karen has been with the practice for over a decade and enjoys seeing patients’ familiar faces regularly. Outside of work Karen enjoys spending time with her husband and raising their three children.
